Johnathan Ho

B.A.A. Technical and Scientific Illustration

I am a dedicated individual of few passions, foremost of which is art. I have studied art for as long as I can remember (more specifically, at the age 5) and it is an integral part of my life. In a world of turmoil and upheavel, it is in my art that I can find solace and peace, a calm in the eye of the storm.

I began my elementary school life at Wesley Christian Academy (then known as Some Place Special Christian Academy), from grades 3 to 6. From grades 7 to 9, I attended the Yorkland School, where I decided that I would pursue art as a career. It is also here that I met some of the longest standing friends that I have now. I studied high school at Earl Haig Secondary School, where I graduated and was accepted directly into Illustration at Sheridan College for Animation and Arts. I have now graduated from Sheridan College for Animation and Arts, with a degree in Technical and Scientific Illustration, and am currently working at Ganz Interactive as a Concept Artist.

Perhaps the only passion that would equal that of art would be Warhammer. Using a rather crude analogy, if art were my wife, then Warhammer would be my mistress. I have been an avid gamer since grade 7, and since then I have continually challenged myself to improve as a gamer and as a painter.

History aside, I was born in Toronto, Canada (eh?). Devout Christian, eccentric Libra, detail-oriented artist, and crazy (occasionally wacky) friend describes me in a nutshell.

Ciao for now.
